Informing Contexts - The End

What a roller coster ride this module has been. From the starting blocks I had a lot of self doubt, a common occurrence with me, but this module has challenged me big time! I still feel I would have benefitted more from the earlier modules if this was in say number two place. I see things very different now in respects of critical thinking and contextualising. So if I had done this earlier I feel I would have maybe got more out of earlier modules. That said, maybe I wasn't ready for it earlier. The tutor and module leader have been a real inspiration and built confidence in me.

The process of editing the work in progress seemed to harder in some ways but I don't feel as hard as maybe some peers who take hundreds of shots on one day, as I have tried to use the module subjects to interact with my images along the way learning as I go. Because my images are constructed they took the time to plan, with model searches, costumes, historical referencing and then thoughts on how I can mix up some anachronisms in them. But it is my way of working and it has been fun. The more I see his work the more I feel this is very like my position.

I have felt challenged and now feel ready for my FMP. So heres to the end of Informing Contexts, but I really feel this is just the beginning!
